Role Description
Girl Now Woman Later Inc. (GNWL), a start up Non-Profit Organization is seeking a Grant Writer to assist the organization in applying for both private and government grant opportunities. We are looking for a strong writer who compliments GNWL’s positive mindset working environment. Grant Writing Intern must enjoy writing and storytelling by pen, wants to make a difference by using their writing, research skills, and talents for the good cause of helping young disadvantaged girl in in impoverished areas in Burkina Faso.
Grant Writing
The intern must enjoy writing, and wants to make a difference by using their writing, research skills, and talents for the good cause of helping young disadvantaged girls in impoverished areas in Burkina Faso. A successful grant writing intern must have the acumen to research and understand grantmaking guidelines for targeted foundations and to write proposals that make a compelling case for GNWL funding, while meeting all grantmaking guidelines.
Responsibilities
Ensure that foundation Letters of Inquiry (LOI), grant proposals, and reports are submitted on time and are of consistently high quality.
Volunteer work is totally virtual.
This position requires a minimum of 15 hours a week for at least three months.
