Bienvenue Michelle Konsimbo is the founder and president of Girl Now Woman Later (GNWL). Born in Burkina Faso, but raised in Belgium, Konsimbo saw first-hand how limited education held girls back from achieving their full potential. Konsimbo has always been an activist for education and menstruation. She values the importance and joy of reading. She has worked for many years in the education field in Atlanta, Georgia. Konsimbo graduated from Kennesaw State University with a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs as well as a Master of Arts in Conflict Management.
Simone Bado is the vice president of GNWL. Bado’s background includes working as a French Teacher at the American International School (AIS) in Ghana. Bado loves sharing the success stories of her students. One of her Bado’s students went on to attend Calvin University in the state of Michigan where she double-majored in French and English. With her work experience and educational background, Bado possesses a unique talent in managing people and gaining their cooperation. Bado has a bachelor’s degree in Finance, as well as a master’s degree in Project Management from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration.
