Bienvenue Michelle Konsimbo is the founder and president of Girl Now, Woman Later (GNWL). Born in Burkina Faso, but also raised in Belgium, Konsimbo saw first-hand how limited education held girls back from achieving their full potential. Konsimbo has always been an activist for education and values the importance and joy of reading. Konsimbo has worked for many years in the education field in Atlanta, Georgia. Konsimbo graduated from Kennesaw State University with a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs and a Master of Arts in Conflict Management from Kennesaw State University.
Simone Bado is the vice president of GNWL. Bado’s background includes working as a French Teacher at the American International School (AIS) in Ghana. Bado loves sharing the success stories of her students. One of Bado’s students went on to attend Calvin University in the state of Michigan where she double majored in French and English. Bado graduated from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration with a bachelor’s degree in Finance and a master’s degree in Project Management. With her work experience and educational background, Bado possesses a unique talent in managing people and gaining their cooperation.
